Share Some Handmade Kindness
We could all use a little kindness and connection these days and fewer things bring be joy than sending a friend a little something to say “I’m thinking of you,” even if that friend is brand new. The Equinox Exchange was created to share some handmade kindness between makers and encourage new connections and friendships across the digital space.
The first Equinox Exchange (Spring 2021) is currently underway. To sign up for the next round in Fall 2021, read on!
To participate
You must have a public Instagram account and sign up using the form below no later than August 13, 2021.
You will be assigned a recipient and a different person will be assigned to gift to you. Know one will know who their giver is until the package arrives.
You’ll receive some helpful info on your gift recipient via the questionnaire.
You must send a small gift, handmade by you, to your assigned recipient to arrive by or before September 22, 2021. There is no limit to what the craft may be, but you are encouraged to use materials you already have on hand.
Your package should include a letter/note introducing yourself and, optionally, you may also include some small goodies, to total no more than $10 USD.
Post a photo of your gift to your public Instagram account on September 22nd with the hashtag #EquinoxExchange2021 so we can all enjoy!
